As surprising as it might sound interior air might in reality be more dirty than outside air. Along with outside pollutants seaping indoors, most houses contain multiple origins of pollutants as well. And the risk is much greater with more consistent exposure to them, so limiting this time can be at least one way to help.

We have evolved to a place where we can manage a particular amount of these pollutants, but some individuals are a lot more vulnerable than others. But those individuals who are highly sensitive may want to consider utilizing things like furnace air filters to help filter and purify the air.

Some of these filters work well to remove many of the standard pollutants and things that trigger allergies, like animal dander, pollen, bacteria, and dust mites from the air. Individuals who have allergies especially should search for interior filters and air conditioning filters. Signs that you may have an allergy include itchy eyes, nose or throat, coughing, sneezing or difficulty breathing. If you have these symptoms for an extended span of time let your doctor know. You may ask to see an allergist.

One other thing you will want to do to assist is dust and vacuum your home often to eliminate these things from the table tops and carpet. This way these pollutants can’t always be stirred into the air.
