Always Wanted Your Own Lightsaber?

Okay if you’re honest you’ll admit that you wanted to be a Jedi when you were a kid (or when she was a kid for that matter - not every girl wanted to be Princess Leia)? How many hours did you spend dreaming about having your own real lightsaber and fighting the forces of Sith darkness in epic battles of life and death? Even more importantly - how many hours did you spend battering plastic “lightswords” against each other? Yes I was that kid too and every day from the first day that I saw Obi Wan Kenobi turn on that lightsaber I’ve wanted to own a real lightsaber. There were many nights spent laying awake in bed trying to figure out how to build a lightsaber.

Then age took over and I forgot all about the idea of having a real lightsaber of my very own. Until one night a few years back I was online browsing - I think it might have been a Star Wars forum and found a link to what somebody said was an incredibly realistic lightsaber. 30 seconds later after watching a short video and I was hooked. Somebody had finally taken the time to go out and build a lightsaber that looked, felt and sounded just like the real thing - the name of this wonderful device - the Force FX lightsaber.

There was finally a “toy” that made my dreams of owning a real lightsaber a reality. Ok I’m much older now (in my 30s to be exact) but the thrill of picking up that replica lightsaber for the first time is something that you can’t explain in words - you have to experience it for yourself. These are more than just replica lightsabers they help make you part of the Star Wars Universe in a way that only a true fan can understand.
