Considering Alien Golf Clubs?

I am considering getting alien golf clubs but I haven’t been able to find a lot of reviews. Does anyone know anything about them or another set that compares to them in price range? Help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Answer:

I used the Alien sand wedge for a couple of years and they are ok wedges for use in green side bunkers. As far as the the thick stuff, I stayed clear of them. They didn’t seem to pack enough punch to get out of it. To me, it didn’t seem like they had enough club head weight. I recently picked up a used Cleveland RS (rescue sole) and that does a really great job. Cuts through the sand, and thick rough life melted butter. Not to mention it’s about next to impossible to hit it fat, and is great for chipping also. It has a DEEP cavity cavity back so its very forgiving, and shoots straight as an arrow. A bit more expensive than the aliens, but IMO is worth a few extra bucks to knock 4 or 5 strokes off of my game. Hope this was helpful.
I also have had the Alient Sport 16 degree Driving Iron for about 7-8 years now and absolutely love it. My greatest weakness was driving with standard woods, but my Iron game is great. This really solved several issues for me. I can hit 240 yards with this Driving Iron. Note that you really should have your swing down before using this club. It is NOT forgiving and would probably be rated less than 4-5 stars by anyone who still needs to work on their swing. For those who have a swing, this is a great, multi-purpose iron I have found extremely useful on Par 4 and Par 5 courses. I can drive with it as well as shoot (more like launch)the ball out of the trees, rough etc and when proper contact is made, the ball flies straight as an arrow. I have found it especially good when landing outside of 100 yards of water. Instead of laying the ball up, I am able to clear most water obstacles that begin 100 yards away.
