Pure Essential Oils Used In Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy practitioners are relying more and more on the use of pure essential oil because there are certain ingredients in essential oils that cause beneficial effects when used in aromatherapy. Essential oils are found in natural elements, therefore widely regarded as a safe, all-natural method for reliving stress, anxiety, and for increasing your energy levels.

For some strange reason, health insurance companies widely disregard the use of essential oil and aromatherapy as illegitimate healing practices. This is easily proven when you try to get your insurance company to cover the costs of your visits to an aromatherapy specialist.

What boggles my mind is the fact that there are many methods of relieving stress that are not covered by many insurance plans, even though stress is the cause for many, many other ailments that people suffer from.  Another method for relieving stress and anxiety is acupuncture, but acupuncture treatment isn’t covered under most insurance plans, either. Acpuncture can relieve your stress is much the same way as the use of essential oils in aromatherapy can, by way of the skin, or epidermis layer.

Since stress is a major cause of many health issues, I really don’t understand why acupuncture and aromatherapy aren’t covered by more health insurance companies. Nowadays, you see corporations giving credits to their employees if they have gym memberships because people that go to the gym regularly tend to be healthier, and healthier employees cost the company less money.

And speaking of employees, most of us work in offices all day long, eating take-out food or food brought in from home that has a lot of preservatives. Busy working professionals with families at home hardly have any time to use their gym memberships, but their bodies are accumulating a lot of waste build-up form the foods they eat every day? So why doesn’t the average insurance company reimburse employees for using colon cleansing products used to relieve their bodies of energy-sucking preservatives? It seems to be that if doctors and insurance companies really want to help solve the health care crises around the world, a large, more open view towards colon cleansing, acupuncture and essential oils’ use in aromatherapy are much needed, and long overdue the respect they deserve as legitimate remedies.
