When most people think about getting rid of their love handles, they just think about performing exercises for oblique muscles. Lunges are very functional and they burn considerable calories because they work the bigger leg muscles. Again with lunges, ensure your knee does not come in front of the foot. This could require a longer lunge than you think is required. If you are short on time, you can set a timer for three minutes and lunge around your home with no weights. Do about 3 sets of this and you’ll have a excellent workout.
Push-ups are certainly one of my favorite exercises for love handles. As push-ups essentially work all of your upper body, they are an excellent option for love handles in addition to core strength. Among my favorite kinds of push-up is the decline push-up, which is where you elevate your legs by putting them on a chair or something.
