For the whole of the summer months The Waspman will be removing wasps nests throughout the whole of Harwood for a set of only 32.000.
We work 7 days per week including evenings and weekends and do not charge any more for evening and weekend call outs.
Wasps nests can normally be destroyed from the exterior of the property by blowing a small quantity of insecticide into the entrance using a special machine.
It is vital to get a wasps’ nest destroyed before mid-september when the new queens which will build next year’s nests start to emerge. Once this starts simply destoying the nest will not deal with these queens as they are no longer using the nest. A single wasps nest can create as many as 2000 queens.
During of the summer we give priority to wasp calls as we know that many people can react to wasps stings and it is important to deal with the nest as with the utmost urgency. We do our utmost to provide a rapid same day service but this is obviously constrained by how busy we are.
It is not necessary to remove the wasps nest itself as it cannot be used again and, being made purely of paper it will eventually crumble away by itself.
